BACKGROUND

Michael is a multi-instrumentalist and WAMI-nominated songwriter with 20 years' experience performing, writing, producing and recording original music in the Perth music scene and beyond.

He is the founding member of Triple J Unearthed winners The Scotch of Saint James (originally Slim Pickins) and heavy punk rock act BATS as well as participating in a slew of WA projects.

More recently, in 2022 Paver received a

WAMI-nomination for 2 tracks on HOUSE

OF COMMONS' debut album in the

electronic & experimental categories

respectively.

In 2023 he contributed 2 original songs

to and recorded the debut EP for Denmark

sea shanty group The Salty Seadogs.

He is currently attached to projects

Arthur Stewart (Denmark) & Modern Warfare (Denmark/Perth).

Michael also occasionally performs solo throughout Southern WA under the moniker PEA.
